A commission for Leah Wise’s blog, StyleWise, to create and illustrate a logo and a portrait piece that can be used across her blog and social media platforms.
The process for logo creation is a 5 step process, including a questionnaire, a set of rough draft sketches, several initial working drawings and the final piece, as well as a final round of adjustments.
The process for a portrait is a 1 step process of illustrating with room for minor edits.
Working with Tolly was great from start to finish. The process was very organized and Tolly made sure that she understood my ideas and preferences before moving forward. During the design process, she sent over numerous drafts side by side so I could really narrow down what I preferred without feeling rushed or overwhelmed, and because she works in easily digestible steps, I was able to pull together details from the drafts I liked best before she did full mock-ups.
I felt like I could really trust Tolly, and that is what made the difference. As a result, I am very pleased with the work I received and would recommend her to anyone looking for an illustrator with a keen and creative eye.
